Red White & Blue Protein Pops Desert Recipe

They will cool you down.  They will satisfy your sweet tooth.  They are packed with Protein.  Most important to remember, they may not last long.  So lets hurry and make these!

  • 1 cup/138g Blueberries
  • 2 cups/336g Strawberries (sliced)
  • 3 cups/674g Greek Yogurt
  • 3 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 12 3oz/88.7ml Dixie cups
  • 12 Wooden sticks

First you will want to mix your Protein Powder with your Greek Yogurt.

Now it's this simple.  You will put a heaping teaspoon of Yogurt mixture into the Dixie cups. Then, place 5 or 6 Blueberries around the edge.

Next put a heaping teaspoon of the Yogurt mixture over them.  ( hold onto the cups and tap them gently up and down to make sure the Yogurt settles.  You will do this after each layer).

Now it's time for the sliced Strawberries.  Make a layer of Strawberries, Yogurt, Strawberries again and top with the last of the Yogurt.

Time to push the sticks in the middle ( Don't forget to tap the cups gently to make sure everything settles and there isn't any air pockets )

We put them in our muffin tin and placed them in the freezer overnight.

When you are ready to serve them up.  Just dip them into some hot water for a few seconds.  This will make it easy to peel the paper cups off.

It's time to watch these disappear!  Enjoy!
