I really like having the physical book over the PDF. I bought the Home Gym Plan and the Cookbook via PDF previously and scrolling around my phone wasn't nearly as satisfying as flipping the physical pages. Using spiral binding instead of glue to allow the book to sit flat is perfect. The construction of the book itself is stellar and I don't have to worry about it ripping. The pictures and artwork are chefs kiss.
The plan itself seems good in my non-professional opinion as I'm only on phase 1 and I'll work my way through the rest of it. I've been having a pretty good time and didn't notice anything too crazy. It's a classic Buff Dudes plan, nothing too far out there.
I do wish the book had two features:
1. Alternative exercises listed in line with the actual exercise on the workout plan pages. An example would be having goblet squats as an alternative to front squats. That would be stellar to work my way around nagging injuries, lack of equipment, me being old and crotchety, or exercises I just don't like to do.
2. A page number on the workout plan page that says where the description of the exercise is. I spent longer than I want to admit looking for AT Lifts and then ended up just googling it.
I do appreciate the work that went into this and am always looking forward to any Buff Dudes content.
