Great book, this is the 5th one I have bought to gift to other friends and family looking to have a quick and healthy meals at hand while looking to make cut or gain. We purchased the PDF and physical book when they first came out about a year ago; and it has become most used book in our house. There was a ton of work and passion put into this book, with beautiful photos and examples. The first section of the book will help any beginner get up and running in the kitchen. From there, after making the meal for the first time you can begin to tailor you meals to your tastes while still having an enjoyable and healthy (guilt free) meal.

4 stars because on some of the receipts there are some measurements and servings that don’t make sense, for example a bowl of the split pea soup is not defined in mL or Oz. Most of the receipts are not like this. This can easily be calculated, and it would be a nice to have all measurements in standard and metric; or some kind of approximation. Protein powder is used a lot in the book and in the future a section protein powders on what/how to cook with it would be appreciated. We found whey to be our favorite for most to the receipts as it breaks down in liquid. There seems to be so many powders more out there- casein (seemed better in the brownies) and plant protein powders. If they release an update, I would be all over that.
