Great book, HATE the binding. I can't even open the pages because the binding is too small. If it weren't for that, this would be a 5/5 review! Love the information included though I wish it would give a play by play of the exercises like it does with the stretches.
I’m finishing the 3 week prep phase and ready to start Phase 1 this week. The prep phase allowed for me to get my form down for the various lifts and to establishing a starting max weights to failure (of form).
I am 39 and fairly active, I have been working out off and on for a while now but mostly with generic workouts and advice from friends. I wasn't really making any progress and I needed some real guidance. I basically need someone to tell me what to do and how many reps/sets. The 12 week plan book has gotten me on track and I'm making some good progress. There are a couple exercises that I have not tried before, but work really well, for example the incline barbell facepulls and barbell landmine presses. I would recommend this book and program and it is working really well for me. Starting week 4, 2nd phase.
I unfortunately have not received the product yet due to living overseas. I will be glad to give you another review when I receive the product again.
I took the buff dudes advice and sat back and reflected on what I really wanted to do so I bought the bodyweight pdf. My body hasn't done those exercises in a long time and it was obvious. Time to change things up and I can support the Dudes at the same time. Definitely worth the small proce.
